A Little Wild was founded on a desire to make it easier to create beautiful, explorative play experiences with our children, but without the waste. As nature lovers and free-range parents we are passionate about creating and allowing joyful experiences for our children while protecting our beautiful planet. That means allowing kids the freedom to explore their world, their senses and the natural environment. And it means providing adults with options for play and learning that nurture not only our children’s imaginations and creativity, but our oceans and trees, birds and bees.
Our vision is to bring kids back to something a little wild: colour, creativity, imagination, nature-play, messy-play and explorative outdoor play, all while being kind to the world around them.
It’s about joyful experiences that don’t cost the earth.

A Little Wild is all about free play - allowing children the freedom to explore and express themselves through creative and open play experiences. We believe this nurtures a child’s imagination and love of learning.
Research also shows that this kind of child-led, explorative play allows children to form working theories about the world around them, paving the way for a bright future for our little thinkers and creators.

We believe that immersing children in nature and providing them with conscious, planet-friendly choices for their play, means children will grow up valuing and protecting the earth.
At a time when we are all concerned for the future of our planet, our children are still children, and we want to let them experience delight on a daily basis. By consciously choosing play materials that minimise waste, last the distance, are locally made and that bring them joy, we believe that simple, precious pleasures are the key to a sustainable future for our children.
